Translated from English, "digital textile printing" means that it is direct digital printing on textiles.
DTG printing is a way of applying an image to a fabric using a special printer. The printer places the image on the fabric in a straight line, without any additional preparatory work.
Digital printing is, of course, the most modern technology for printing on T-shirts, sweatshirts and other clothing. Special inks are used for printing on textiles. The printer prints the image directly on the fabric. After printing the image is soft, the fabric continues to breathe, this print can withstand more than 30-50 washes without significant loss of quality, if you follow the recommendations for the care of clothes.
Ecological water-based inks are used for printing.

The method of direct printing on clothing and other textiles is still considered a relatively young in the field of printed branding. DTG technology stands for Digital to garmet, which means being applied directly to clothing. With its help, you can get a high-quality full-color image on almost any clothing and textile. A special feature is that no intermediate image carriers are used to transfer the special ink. Direct printing technology on clothing
Direct printing on fabric is similar to printing a picture on paper in a printer. Only it requires a different printing unit and polymer inks based on metal oxides, which stay on fabric for a long time and are safe for people.
The overall process takes approximately 15 minutes, of which 3-5 minutes are required to print. It consists of the following stages:
● Preparation. The pile is smoothed, for example, on a hot plate or a special iron. At the same time, the master controls the heating temperature so as not to damage the fabric.
● The product is treated with a primer to better fix the paint.
● A special tablet is placed under the area on which the drawing is applied so that the paint does not pass to the other side of the thing.
● The clothes are sent to the printer, where all the specified colors are applied to it at the same time. This is how they print on light products. For dark ones, a layer of white ink is first applied, which is used as a substrate for full color printing.
● Post-processing provides for fixing by heating up to 150 degrees.

● Can be printed on side seams, planks, pockets and other tricky surfaces.
● The paint layer is very thin, almost does not affect the tactile sensations. The thing remains soft.
● The paints are safe for health and the environment.
Choice of fabric
Prompt printing on T-shirts and other textiles is most often done on white fabrics. Ideally, they should be smooth, lint-free. For example:
● combed cotton;
● 95% cotton and 5% artificial fiber;
● synthetic materials.
It is better to give preference to dense fabrics with a loose structure, since the image on them is clearer and brighter.
